Hi, I’m Shira, and I’m so so happy you’re here!!
I am a storytelling wedding and couples photographer currently based out of Denver, CO, but will without a doubt travel anywhere in the world to capture your story. My incredibly smart girlfriend, Gracie, got offered an RN position in Denver so here we are all the way from Orange County California! I was actually born and raised in Northern CA in the heart of Sacramento, and later moved to Southern CA in 2018 to attend the University of La Verne. Since 2018 I moved around OC quite a lot in my early 20s as I navigated early adulthood (sounds so fun right!) making my way to Brea this past year. I truly can’t wait to make Colorado our home.
Let’s cut all the accolade talk and get into truly why I love what I do! Growing up I was obsessed with taking pictures of everything and anything I could, so the minute I got my first camera, I never looked back. There is something I can’t explain about how beautiful the human experience can be. The one thing that combines it all is love, that is was inspires me. The way we interact, connect and feel with other people is so special to me, and something I will forever be grateful to be apart of. That is my joy, being able to capture it. And in all honesty I absolutely love any and all juicy love stories! (No seriously give me all the nitty gritty details I mean it. I’ll just be here kicking my feet like a little kid).
My job is so much more than clicking a button and throwing someone behind a camera with a few poses. I strive to be intentional when directing you through a shoot. For me, it’s about finding those moments that make time stop. Each session is uniquely curated to each couple, based on your needs/wants/story and so much more. Think about it like we’re creating a movie trailer of your love in photos. Picture your favorite rom com, that’s the vision we’re striving for. My images capture timeless moments you’ll be able to relive and enjoy for years to come. If you’re looking for a photographer who will double as a friend, I’m your girl! By letting me in I will capture intimate & vulnerable moments filled with every color of emotion during our session. That’s what’s so unique about this career, the ability to document life as we experience it. To put it simply, I am here for YOU!

MEET THE FAM
Meet my best friends! My girlfriend, Gracie, is the sweetest person I have ever met. They weren’t kidding when they said to date your best friend. She truly keeps me grounded, as I’m sure many of you know the feeling. She is currently taking one for the team and starting her Nursing career as a New Grad RN. Her resilience inspires me everyday and I’m just so proud of who she is! I love our little life we're creating and can’t wait to see what adventures come next.
It would be a crime to not include the fur babies. Buddy, is my (and adopted mom Gracie’s) bundle of joy. I’ve had him since I was 8, and he’s still just as happy as can be. Unfortunately he’s walking on the rainbow bridge now, but he’s always apart of us. One thing about us is we love anything and everything about nature. If you can’t reach us we’re probably hiking somewhere with no service. One of our bucket list items is to explore every National Park. We are also queens of binge watching shows, it’s almost a talent at this point. Our current watch is The Pitt on MAX.
